Terrific Twos
Our loving instructors at Active Kids will ease your child into their exciting, new world while introducing “school” concepts through art, music, movement, science, play time and circle time. Your little ones will learn important social and self-help skills while interacting with their peers and teachers during our busy school day.
Monday - Friday from 9am - Noon.
We recommend two to three days/week for beginning students, however you have the option to do any number of days/week.
Children must be two by December 31st to register.
Marvelous Threes
Welcome to your emerging explorer/learner! They are amazing. At Active Kids, our experienced and loving staff will engage your curious, energetic pre-schooler in “hands on” learning through art, music, movement, circle time, playtime, science, and skill based centers introducing letters and numbers as well as world concepts.
We will keep your child moving with our specials including yoga, gymnastics, music & movement, and tae kwon do.
Monday - Friday from 9am - Noon.
We recommend at least three days/week at this age, but you have the option of any number of days/week.
Children must be three years old by December 31st to enter into our program.
Fabulous Fours
Getting ready for Kindergarten! Can you believe it?? Four is the age when development blossoms into creativity and independence. Our Fabulous Four’s are preparing for a lifetime of learning. This includes a more structured school day, focusing on phonics and number sense, but still including plenty of playtime and learning through a “hands on” approach.
Our Active Kids program includes body-building awareness through gymnastics, yoga, tae-kwon do, and music & movement. Children will continue to develop socially through interaction with their peers, and teacher - modeled behavior.
Monday - Friday from 9am - Noon.
We recommend three or more days/week at this age, but you have the option of any number of days/week.
Children must be four years old by December 31st to enter into our program.
COMING SEPT 2024: K-Prep
We are excited to offer a new program for children 4 & 5 years old that bridges the gap between preschool and Kindergarten.
Our K-Prep program, taught by our beloved Active Kids certified teachers, will be based on Kindergarten standards but modified to allow for a slower paced, but more well-rounded introduction to Kindergarten material.
The program will focus on the following areas of development:
Social-Emotional Growth
Independence Skills
Physical Development
Language & Communication Skills
The Understanding of our World as it relates to: Art, Science, Math, Social Studies and Technology.
The program will also offer some playtime in the gym and outdoor play area.
K-Prep will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30 - 3:30pm during the school year following our Pre-K calendar from September 10th, 2024 - June 16th, 2025.
$170 per month (1 day a week) $320 per month (2 days a week)
To be eligible, children must be 5 by December 31, 2024 or enrolled in a 4 year old pre-K program by Fall 2024 and enrolled in the K-prep program as a supplement to their learning.
Leading our Pre - K & K - Prep programs is educator, Debbie Friedman. Debbie first came to Tumbling Tunes to participate in the music and gymnastics mommy & me program with her little ones and is now excited to be back as an educator working with young children at such a fun and important developmental stage in their lives.
Debbie brings 15 years of experience with her, teaching preschool through middle school. Along with years of experience teaching and nurturing four children of her own, her Teaching Certification and Master’s degree in Special Education will allow for creating an environment designed to meet the developmental needs of all our little preschoolers.
